The New Youth Entrepreneur is an experience-based curriculum for teaching youth about entrepreneurship. Through this program, young people: explore entrepreneurship as a career option; learn about setting goals and developing an "entrepreneurial attitude"; use creativity and logic to solve problems; and learn the importance of academic preparation in the context of entrepreneurship. The New Youth Entrepreneur curriculum was developed through a cooperative effort of the Education, Training and Enterprise Center (EDTEC) and the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
